About LaKeshia

LaKeshia Orr is a native of Los Angeles, California, and a proud Howard University Bison; she loves interpersonal communication and connecting with new people. She can turn a stranger into a friend with just one conversation. Her welcoming energy, optimistic outlook, and refreshing authenticity is a simple pleasure you are sure to enjoy.

Led by her curiosity and fearlessness, this woman knows no bounds. Well, this was true until July 2017 when she was diagnosed with a rare chronic illness by the name of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, PAH. 

Newly diagnosed with PH, LaKeshia’s world changed drastically. While her health failed rapidly, her spirit was never broken. She was taken off work and placed on permanent disability. Way too ambitious to sit at home and do nothing, she did what she does best: networked! She found business owners to collaborate with and began positioning herself to work remotely as a coach, consultant, and trusted advisor. 

In much better health, LaKeshia continues to be a ray of sunshine to everyone she encounters. She is a speaker and co-facilitates workshops all across the country. LaKeshia continues to make incredible strides in creating a ‘new normal’ that’s arguably better than her ‘old normal’.
